At Croft Mill Fabrics, we understand that even the most discerning makers occasionally need to adjust their creative plans. Just as you carefully select our premium European dress fabrics or seasonal collections, we want your returns experience to reflect the same quality and attention to detail.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:
- In original, unused condition
- With all original tags and packaging
- Accompanied by your order confirmation
Note on Non-Returnable Items: For the protection of all our customers, we cannot accept returns on:
- Cut fabrics (measured and sold by the meter/yard)
- Ex-designer & branded remnants (due to their exclusive nature)
- Fat quarter bundles that have been opened
- Digital products like Closet Core patterns (once downloaded)
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Maker Support Team
Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Return Request Template:
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Within 2 business days, we’ll email you:
- Return authorization number
- Return shipping address (our San Antonio studio)
- Special instructions if needed
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your items securely (we recommend reusing our packaging) and ship to:

Include your return authorization number clearly on the package.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receipt
- Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Amount: Original item cost minus any shipping charges (unless return is due to our error)
Exchange Process
For exchanges:
- We’ll ship your new item once we receive the return
- You’ll be responsible for any price difference
- Shipping charges apply for the new item unless exchanging for a defective product
International Returns
For our global customers (excluding some Asian/remote regions):
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- Customs fees are non-refundable
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive damaged goods or incorrect items (perhaps our Autumn/Winter dress fabrics instead of your selected Cotton Poplin prints):
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damage or incorrect items
- We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed
