Double Gauze Uni – Pink

This baby-soft 100% cotton double gauze has a dusky pink side and a white reverse. This beautiful double gauze is a versatile lightweight fabric made up from 2 very fine layers of cotton gauze tacked together, visibly so in this fabric as you can see the slight spotted texture in the cloth. These layers have a looser weave that gives the cloth a cuddlier feel.

Often confused with muslin due to its puckered texture, this fabric is double layered unlike muslin. However its applications do transfer over, perfect for quilting and blanketing this fabric is not restricted by the thinness of muslin. The layers of cloth make this perfect for dressmaking, creating wonderful blouses, dresses, skirts, and comfy loungewear.

• Please allow up to 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side. For all fabrics wash before making up in the same manner as would with subsequent washes (including drying methods).
