Description

The Blanca Flight Suit pattern draws inspiration from vintage workwear and offers a semi-fitted design that can be tailored to individual preferences. It features multiple sleeve and leg options, making it suitable for a wide range of fabrics and styles, perfect for dressing up or down.

This pattern boasts a center front zipper, patch pockets that can also function as belt loops, and the choice of an optional tie belt or buckled belt, complete with a traditional shirt collar. The back design is unique with pleats that add an extra dimension of visual interest. The Blanca Flight Suit is further customisable with the addition of long sleeves, tapered sleeves with snap buttons, or short sleeves. The leg is cut straight, with the option to crop or taper at the hem with a leg tab. Additionally, you can select a classic breast patch pocket or a zippered pocket to add detail.

Fabric Suggestions

To achieve a structured appearance it is recommended to use sturdy woven fabrics such as denim, twill, canvas, and mid to heavyweight linen and cotton. However, for a softer and more relaxed effect, consider using mid-weight fabrics with drape, such as tencel twill, cupro, or silk noil.
